Hvis man er statsborger i en af Unionens medlemsstater eller har fast bopæl i en medlemsstat, kan man indgive klage til Den Europæiske Ombudsmand. Virksomheder, foreninger og andre organer med hjemsted i Unionen kan også klage til Ombudsmanden.

Hvem vi er

Emily O'Reilly tiltrådte posten som Europæisk Ombudsmand den 1. oktober 2013.

Hun var tidligere national ombudsmand i Irland og leder af den irske oplysningsmyndighed (2003-2013), såvel som en prisvindende politisk journalist, moderator og forfatter.
